US ex-President Donald Trump paid a visit to his hometown of New York on Monday, for the first time since he left the White House.

The former president currently resides in Mar-a-Lago, Florida. He still lives in the Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue. He was only noticed briefly: late on Sunday evening when he arrived. A photo from the New York Post shows him in the back of a vehicle.
In the afternoon on Monday, about twenty of his supporters showed up in front of the skyscraper. Some carried the inscription “We Love Trump” and “Trump 2024”.
Trump’s return to New York, a democratic stronghold where current President Joe Biden won a large majority of the vote in November, remains discreet. There was no official communication about the visit, the agenda and the duration. The Secret Service, which protects former US presidents, also gave no information.
