The former US president announced that he will turn himself in Thursday in the state of Georgia. In a post on his platform, TruthSocial, he said he would be “arrested by radical left-wing prosecutor Fannie Willis,” who filed the fourth indictment against him this year.

On Monday, August 21, a Georgia judge agreed to a bail of $200,000 for the controversial former president in the same case.

In addition to bail, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee imposed additional conditions in an agreement approved by prosecutors and Trump’s lawyers.

McAfee said in a three-page memorandum that “the defendant may not take any action to intimidate any person he knows to be a defendant or witness in this case or otherwise obstruct the administration of justice.”

“The above shall include, but not be limited to, posts on social media or reposts of posts made by another person,” the judge added.

Fulton District Attorney General Fannie Willis asked the judge to set a date for March 4 next year for the 77-year-old former president’s trial on charges of election fraud.

As Trump seeks to return to the White House, he was indicted in Georgia after a two-year investigation into a series of election crimes in the state. The front-runner for the Republican nomination for the 2024 presidential election also faces four criminal trials.

Other defendants facing charges in this case include Trump’s former personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and White House chief of staff Mark Meadows.
