Trump concluded his own administration as the second oldest president in history, after Ronald Reagan, who was 77 years old, and would be 82 at the end of his term if he won in 2024. Biden would be 86 in 2028.
“Some of the most prominent world leaders are in their 80s,” the Republican told NBC. “By the way, I’m far from that age,” he added without irony.
“Biden is not too old. But I think he is incompetent, and that is a big problem,” she considered.
Biden, who overcame a stuttering problem as a young man, has often been mocked for his verbal stumbles. However, he remains in good physical shape, is physically active, does not drink and is often seen riding his bicycle on weekends at his home in Delaware.
Democrats argue he is also competent, noting that he oversaw the writing of important legislation.
In the interview with NBC, Trump said his own age does not concern him and noted that his parents lived a long time. “So genetically, that’s a good thing.”
