Former President Donald Trump will not testify in court in New York on Monday. He wrote this on his social media platform Truth Social on Sunday. It is the second time that he has to appear in court in a case involving the value of his property.
In October, a judge found that Trump greatly exaggerated the value of his assets and the size of his assets on paper. This allowed him and his company to obtain favorable tax rates, low insurance premiums and loans on favorable terms.
