The book includes 29-year-old Johnny McEntee, who for a long time carried the baggage of President Donald Trump, before he ended up towards the end of Trump’s presidency as chief of staff and head of the powerful Presidential Personnel Office (PPO).

“He was a pissed-off idiot,” he says, who worked closely with McEntee in the White House, according to the book “The Final Act of the Trump Show,” which was written by Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl in ABC News.
In the newspaper The Atlantic this week, Karl comes with an excerpt from the book, which will go on sale next week.
Karl writes that Johnny McEntee at the end of Trump’s presidency employed “several beautiful young women and nerdy boys”, who were called “Rockettes and the Dungeons and Dragons”, writes the New York Post.

Another who was hired by Johnny McEntee was a young woman who had worked as a Radio City Music Hall Rockette, and who performed at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Manhattan in 2019.

She is said to have previously had a short internship in the White House, and had also previously had a job as a dance instructor, the book says.

But while the 29-year-old ladies’ employees were young and beautiful, McEntee took a completely different approach when it came to hiring men. The men McEntee employed were “types who would in no way pose any threat when it came to Johnny going after these girls,” the book states.
Part of the working method for the 29-year-olds is said to have been to play on Trump’s fears about “The Deep State” towards the employees of the White House.
– In private, some Trump employees compared PPO (Working Under McEntee) with East Germany and the Stasi, or even the Gestapo. They were always looking to expose some traitors inside, the author writes in the book.

Author Jonathan Karl also points out an unfortunate woman who got to taste McEntee’s anger.
The sin she committed, according to the book, was to press “like” on an Instagram photo posted by Taylor Swift, who is a big fan of Joe Biden.

New York Post writes that it is unclear what happened to the person who clicked for “likes” on Taylor Swift’s Instagram post, but the woman is said to have worked in the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The 29-year-old McEntee, as top head of the PPO, is said to have held control of a total of 4,000 appointments and dismissals after he took up the position in February 2020, around 11 months before President Trump resigned.

– Got fired
He worked for Trump in connection with the presidential campaign in 2016 and then got the job as an assistant and baggage handler for Trump.

But in March 2018, he is said to have been fired because a background check carried out by the FBI showed that he had not reported “a suspiciously large sum of money, which was linked to gambling”.
But that did not mean that Trump lost him completely off the radar. By 2020, Trump will have insisted on hiring McEntee as leader of the PPO.

Argued to fire the defense minister
In the book, the author also mentions a note from McEntee, in which the 29-year-old makes several arguments as to why Donald Trump should fire his then Minister of Defense Mark Esper. President Trump fired Esper in November 2020 after the two had had a strained relationship for a long time.
