The US president, among other things, emphasized that “Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and pharmaceutical companies that have engaged in deception and misinformation when it comes to Public Health.”
He emphasized that “the Safety and Health of all Americans is the most important role of any Administration” and pledged that “the Department of Health will play a large role in helping to ensure that everyone is protected from harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides , the pharmaceuticals and food additives that have contributed to the overwhelming health crisis in this country.”
