Donald Trump Leads Joe Biden in 2024 Presidential Election Poll: Reuters/Ipsos Survey

Another survey has been conducted in the United States regarding the sympathies of American voters in the upcoming presidential elections this year.

The most potential candidate from the Republican Party in the 2024 presidential election, the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, is 6% ahead of the current owner of the White House, Joe Biden, in the fresh survey Reuters/Ipsos, which polled 1,250 American adults.

Thus, 40% of respondents are ready to vote for Trump, 34% of survey participants expressed support for Biden. The remaining respondents have not yet decided on their choice or support other candidates. The survey error is 3%, as specified in the material.

A previous Reuters/Ipsos poll earlier this month showed Biden and Trump with equal chances of winning.

The article also notes that the national poll does not reflect the subtleties of the Electoral College battle that will unfold in the fall in several competitive states.

“The two candidates themselves appear poised for a rematch after Trump’s back-to-back wins in Iowa and New Hampshire, with the White House considering Trump a winnable challenger and Trump angry that Haley did not immediately drop out of the Republican race.”– said in the material.

Let us remember that in January, Trump won the Republican primaries in the states of Iowa and New Hampshire, but his main competitor, former US permanent representative to the UN Security Council Nikki Haley, claims that the fight is not over yet.

It was previously reported that Haley reduced lagging behind Trump in South Carolina, increasing his rating by 12%.
