Donald Trump lashes out at Kamala Harris – Telemundo McAllen (40)

Former President and Republican candidate Donald Trump lashed out at Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday in a series of posts on his social media platform Truth Social, as she was giving her speech to accept the Democratic nomination for the White House.

“Too many ‘thank yous’ said too quickly, what’s wrong with you?” Trump mocked as Harris began her remarks, referring to her as “Comrade Kamala” and a “horrible” person.

As the vice president began attacking Trump in her speech, portraying the former president as a danger to American democracy and an “unserious” man who would bring “serious” consequences for the country, he wrote in capital letters: “ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ME?”

Harris made history on Thursday by becoming the first African-American woman and the first person of Asian descent to be nominated for president by one of the major US parties.

Minutes after Harris concluded her speech, Trump appeared on the conservative Fox network to attack the vice president.

In her speech from Chicago, Harris called her Republican rival an “unserious” man who would have “serious” consequences for the country if he returned to the White House.

Harris accepted the nomination for the presidential nomination on Thursday at the close of the DNC.

If he wins the November election, Trump will use the “enormous powers of the presidency” to benefit “himself,” Harris said in a speech where she made history by becoming the first African-American woman to be the presidential candidate of one of the two main US parties.

Harris recalled how Trump “tried to dismiss the vote” of Americans when he lost the 2020 election and spread conspiracy theories about voter fraud, even inviting a mob of his supporters to storm the Capitol on January 6, 2021, when the two chambers of Congress were set to certify the victory of US President Joe Biden.
