BETHESDA / MARYLAND (VG) The Presidential helicopter Marine One brought corona-infected Donald Trump home to the White House on Monday night.

As the helicopter became visible in the sky, the many hundreds of supporters who had gathered outside the hospital began shouting “Trump 2020” in unison.
At 00.38 Norwegian time, the president was seen walking out of the hospital door wearing a face mask. There he greeted the photographers with his fist before getting into a waiting car that took him to the helicopter.
The American president has been admitted to the military hospital Walter Reed with corona infection since night to Saturday. He announced even Monday that he would be discharged at 6.30pm local time – 00.30 night until Tuesday Norwegian time.

At 01 Norwegian time – at 19 local time, the president was back in the White House. Here he walked up the stairs to the balcony, put his handkerchief in his pocket before waving and showing thumbs-up signs to the photographers.
Earlier Monday, Trump wrote on Twitter that he is doing well and that people should not be afraid of the coronavirus.
– Feels very good. Do not be afraid of covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump administration, some really great medicine and knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago.

Trump has been clear that he will quickly return to a normal situation when he now returns to the White House, even though the treatment against covid-19 will continue there.

He also plans to take part in the next presidential debate against Joe Biden, Tim Murtaugh, spokesman for Trump’s election campaign, said according to Reuters.
The debate is scheduled to take place in Miami on October 15, and just before he leaves the hospital, Trump promises on Twitter that he will be back on the road to running an election campaign soon.
Outside the hospital, a large crowd had gathered – both Trump supporters and opponents. Several lined up with signs with the inscription “Black Lives Matter”, and there is occasionally a great atmosphere between these and Trump supporters.
President of the United States Sunday surprised supporters outside the hospital with a drive, where he wearing a face mask waved to them through the car window.
The drive was heavily criticized, including by doctors who thought the president put Secret Service personnel in the car with him in danger. Supporters VG met outside the hospital, however, hailed the car stunt:
