NEW YORK (Dagbladet): This week, Donald Trump must report to the authorities in Georgia accused of having tried to change the presidential election in the state in 2020 together with 18 other defendants.
Trump is also charged in three other cases. One of the federal cases against him concerns his role in the January 6 attack on Congress and the attempt to overturn the election results.

Holder has made the documentary film “Unprecedented” about the last months of Trump’s presidency. The film was released last summer, and the US Department of Justice has since subpoenaed Holder to hand over unpublished material.

The British filmmaker also claims that Trump was surrounded by a culture of fear.
– He looked away at one of his assistants when he said some of the most controversial things. But they were terrified of him. So it was a weird dynamic. There was no respect for a president. It was pure fear. It was just a very unusual situation around him, says Holder.
Trump also repeated the lie that the election was stolen from him to Holder.
– To see him at Mar-a-Lago and Bedminster, is to see a very dangerous person who needs constant admiration from all the people around him, says Holder.

Drops debate
Trump himself rages against all the charges and calls it a political witch hunt.
Trump is also constantly trying to become the Republican presidential candidate. However, he confirmed on Sunday evening that he will not debate the other Republican presidential candidates in the first debate on Wednesday.
