Donald Trump appears for the first time since his election defeat in his hometown of New York. The reason could be anything but encouraging.
New York City – He’s back in his hometown, if only for an unannounced brief visit. Donald Trump was seen in New York on Sunday. According to the British Daily Mail, the former US president visited his Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue there. The gossip and rainbow newspaper did not report whether he stayed in his hometown beyond his 75th birthday. But probably about the appearance of the 45th US President.
As the Daily Mail photos show, Donald Trump was wearing one of his navy blue suits, but his shirt wasn’t closed to the top, nor was he wearing one of his red ties. The former president of the USA appeared “gaunt”, “exhausted and pale”.
Donald Trump visits New York, but still lives in Florida
It was his first visit to New York, the city where Donald Trump was born almost exactly 75 years ago since he lost the US election to Joe Biden. Trump had to leave the White House. But instead of moving to their old home on the 58th floor of Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue, Donald, his wife Melania Trump and their son Barron Trump moved to Florida. Mar-a-Lago, the family-owned luxury resort, has become the new home of the presidential family.
It is also the first time that Donald Trump has come to the “Big Apple” since it became known that the local prosecutor’s office had started a criminal investigation against the Trump Organization. In addition to Trump, his children Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Ivanka Trump are threatened with charges because all three have held managerial positions in the family business in the past. This also applies to Allen Weisselberg. The former CFO is already seen in the US media as a possible key witness against the Trump family.

Donald Trump visits – investigations against the company continue
It is not known whether Donald Trump’s visit is related to the investigation against him and his company. But it is likely that they are progressing at a high pace. Just recently, the communications company Apple announced that it had followed a request from the public prosecutor’s office and handed over data from Donald F. McGahn’s cell phones to the investigators. McGahn served as a consultant to Donald Trump in the White House from 2017 to 2018. That same week, adult actress Stormy Daniels announced that she was ready to testify against Trump in court.
But Donald Trump himself did not show the trouble with the judiciary as much as possible during his visit to New York. He waved to the handful of fans who had gathered in front of Trump Tower and entered the lobby of the skyscraper accompanied by Secret Service agents.
These fans, in turn, are clearly in the minority in the 8.4 million metropolis. As the New York Daily News reports, the overwhelming part of New York is happy that Trump has moved from Manhattan to Palm Beach, Florida. A former Trump Organization employee Barbara Res told the Daily News, “He once thought he was the King of New York. If he comes here now announced, 10,000 people will demonstrate against him. “(Daniel Dillmann)
