After appearing in federal court in Washington DC on Thursday, Trump resumed his electoral campaign to win the Republican nomination for president in the 2024 elections and assured that his political opponents are hitting him with a series of demands “that require massive amounts of time and money.”
And instead of addressing the Supreme Court justices through their lawyers, Trump asked them for help in a message on his Truth social network, where he noted that “resources that should have been spent on Announcements and Rallies are being spent fighting the Radical Left Thugs in many courts across the Country,” according to The Hill.
“I’m leading in all the Polls, including against Mad Joe, but this is not a level playing field. It is Electoral Interference, and the Supreme Court must intercede. MAGA (Make America Great Again)!” he said.
Despite the numerous lawsuits he faces, Trump appears as the undisputed favorite in the polls for the Republican primaries next year.
According to a poll published Tuesday by The New York Times, Democratic President Joe Biden, who is running for re-election, and Trump they would tie in the elections next year with 43% of the votes each.
Trump pleaded not guilty on Thursday before the federal court of the District of Columbia, in Washington, of the four charges against him for allegedly trying to reverse the result of the vote of the 2020 elections, in which he lost against Biden. .
