Donald Trump appealed against the dismissal of his lawsuit in Pennsylvania

White House chief Donald Trump has not given up on the fight for Pennsylvania, even after a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit seeking Trump’s team to block the state’s presidential election. Trump’s campaign, which complained of irregularities in the vote, appealed against the judge’s decision on Sunday, the AP agency reported.

Trump is trying to reverse the outcome of the election, in which media projections Democrat Joe Biden won. The president and his team appealed to the Philadelphia Court of Appeals. This move was previously announced by Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani.

According to the media, Biden won about 80,000 votes in Pennsylvania, winning 20 voters for the state. But Trump’s election team claims that in Pennsylvania, the votes of democratic voters were treated differently from the votes of Republicans, which did not ensure equal constitutional voting rights.

In some districts in Pennsylvania, election officials offered voters to modify correspondence cards that contained some technical shortcomings – for example, they lacked service in an inner secret envelope or lacked the voter’s signature on the outer envelope. Authorities are not required to do so under local law, but may do so. Trump’s team claims that officials offered such a remedy disproportionately more in Democratic districts.

According to Judge Matthew Brann, Trump’s campaign called for “the cancellation of the votes of nearly seven million voters in Pennsylvania.” The Republican judge denied this, saying that only weak legal arguments and speculative allegations were made to the court. The results of the vote should be closed by the Pennsylvania authorities today.

Chavez is too much

Donald Trump’s election team, on the other hand, distanced itself on Sunday from conservative lawyer Sidney Powell, who has been developing conspiracy theories in recent days and making unsubstantiated allegations of electoral irregularities. According to Powell, the fraudulent software allowed the transfer of millions of votes cast to Trump to Biden.

Powell, whom Trump talked about on Twitter on November 14 as one of his lawyers, but apparently went too far on Thursday with allegations of fraud. Among other things, the lawyer falsely stated that the election software in the state of Georgia and others was created at the behest of the late left-wing Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez and allowed Trump to steal millions of votes.

According to US media projections, Biden has 306 voters and Trump 232; at least 270 of them are required to be elected president.
