Before thousands of excited fans who sang all his songs, Latin music icon and reggaeton pioneer, Don Omar, successfully kicked off his long-awaited “BACK TO REGGAETON” concert tour at the Santander Arena in the city of Reading, Pennsylvania.
As soon as the first musical notes were heard, those present rose from their seats to dance, shout and receive with great joy the Puerto Rican performer who had not been on a concert tour for more than a decade.
From the beginning to the end of the “BACK TO REGGAETON” show, attendees enjoyed incomparable moments while they were transported with the contagious music that only Don Omar can transmit. The spectacular lights, costumes, dancers and visuals were the perfect complement to a magical night.
The singer presented a musical tour in a show that intertwined decades of classic hits such as: “Dale Don Dale”, “Dile”, “Pobre Diabla”, “Repórtense”, “Nadie como tú”, “Salió el Sol”, “Danza Kuduro”, among others and closed with “Bandoleros”.
At the beginning of the concert, the mayor of the city of Reading, Eddie Moran, presented the singer with a proclamation in recognition of his 25 years of successful career and expressed his gratitude for having selected the city as the first stop on his tour in the USA.
Additionally, the Mayor named the city’s main street Don Omar Avenue. The city of Reading has a population made up of 70% Hispanics, of which the vast majority are Puerto Ricans.
The “BACK TO REGGAETON” tour continues next Saturday, March 9 at the Barclays Center in New York and will also visit Los Angeles, Chicago, Orlando, Dallas, Las Vegas and Miami, among other cities in the United States. This series of concerts celebrates more than two decades of innovative music and global hits that have marked the career of the Puerto Rican artist who won the “Global Icon 2024” award in the last edition of Premio Lo Nuestro.
