The Everly Brothers are a household name. They graced the charts alongside rock stars like Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Pat Boone and Chuck Berry. Isaac Donald and Philip Everly started their career in 1957 with their first album. They opt for harmonious vocals and guitars, a golden combination.
The hits are strung together. “Bye bye love” is an instant hit. The song is actually intended for Elvis, but it fits in front of it. “Wake up little Susie” and the sugary sweet “All I have to do is dream” soon follow, as does a record deal with Warner Bros. record. Other classics from the brothers include “Love hurts” and “Crying in the rain”.
