“Don du sang à Villepreux le 6 mai : Prenez rendez-vous pour sauver des vies avec l’EFS”

Every month, the French Blood Establishment (EFS) organizes various collections at SQY. One of them takes place in Villepreux, on May 6, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Gérard Philipe leisure centre. This collection is mobile and the number of places is limited to 68. Make an appointment on dondesang.efs.sante.fr.

“Throughout the year, 10,000 blood donations are needed every day to cover the needs,” recalls the EFS. Here are some guidelines to follow in order to be able to donate blood: it is best to donate blood when you are in good shape. In addition, you must be between 18 and 70 years old and weigh more than 50 kg. The collection lasts about 1 hour, including the interview with the medical staff, the collection and rest.
