Dominique Heintz moves to the Alte Försterei | Professionals

1. FC Union Berlin signed 28-year-old defender Dominique Heintz from SC Freiburg in the winter transfer period. After three and a half years with the Breisgauer, Heintz joins the Iron.

The former U19, U20 and U21 national player began playing football in his home country at SV Herta Kirrweiler before moving to 1. FC Kaiserslautern in 2001, where he made his Bundesliga debut in 2012. At FCK, the 1.88-meter-tall central defender tied his football boots for six years until he moved to 1.
