One year after the death of Karel Gott († 80), there is still a tense relationship between the widow Ivana (44) and the nightingale daughter Dominika (47). Now Dominika has decided to draw an imaginary weapon and set out to compete against the younger pansy. At the same time, he wants to reconcile with her at the same time!
It seems that the oldest nightingale’s daughter spoils what she touches, and her escapades do not end. Instead of holding the bass with the rest of the family after her father’s death, she cut herself away from her, set out on her journey, and resembled a porcelain elephant.
After not agreeing to the publication of footage taken for a documentary about Karel Gott, in which not a word was really said about her, she cooled her heart with a piece of hussar, which took the wind from Ivana’s sails.
At the end of the Master’s life, his autobiography was created, the completion of which is firmly in the hands of Ivana Gottová. However, the publication of the long-awaited book was postponed until March next year – allegedly due to new artifacts and documents that Ivana found.
She decided that they should not be missing from the book, so fans would have to wait less than six months. But Dominika overtook her stepmother! She first published a book special in collaboration with the daily Blesk, called My Dad Karel. On the day of the first anniversary of the nightingale’s death, she attacked the counters of bookstores for the second time with the book The Last Years with Charles.
She was absent at the baptism
An open confession on two hundred and sixteen pages shows the backstage of the Gott family in the last years of the singer’s life from the point of view of Dominika Gottová and journalist Luboš Procházka. It offers not only a different interpretation of Ivana Gottová’s actions, but also chapters in which the Master’s daughter describes her addiction to drugs and alcohol, her return to the Czech Republic from Finland, where she lived with the controversial musician Tim Tolkki, and why her father saved and rejected her.
However, Dominika did not arrive for the recent baptism because she had to go to work. She sent only video greetings to the guests of the ceremony. “I’m glad I was given the opportunity to comment on how I saw some things, and I think you have a right to know, too. Perhaps you’ll like the book, it took me a long time. Sometimes the past wasn’t easy at all, but there is no presence either, “complained Karel Gott’s daughter.
He wants to reconcile
While Ivana Gottová carefully considers every step she takes and every word she says after the death of her husband, Dominika is very happy to spread the memories of her famous father without thinking. He even publicly presents information that would not only dislike the Master, but also do not smell Ivana, who is consistently guarding the good name of the deceased husband.
However, on the occasion of the recent anniversary of Gott’s death, Dominica repented. “I’d like to make Dad in Heaven happy and try to put together the quarreling sides of our family. But both sides, not just one, must want that,” she said, admitting that she wasn’t a good daughter.
If it comes to a happy family ending, he’s in the stars for now. What is certain, however, is that the deep wounds suffered by the honor of the late Karel Gott through Dominica’s guilt will certainly not go away with a wave of his hand. Not to mention that Ivana was bitten by the fact that she overtook her for the second time with her book about the most popular Czech singer Dominika.
