Freiburg (dpa) – As in the 1-0 win in the Bundesliga against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, coach Marco Rose from defending champion RB Leipzig made five changes to the starting formation in the semi-finals of the DFB Cup at SC Freiburg. According to the club, Kevin Kampl will be out on Tuesday (8.45 p.m. / Sky and ZDF) in the rematch of the previous season’s final due to “muscular problems in the left thigh area”. Lukas Klostermann, Mohamed Simakan, David Raum and Emil Forsberg initially sit on the bench.
In return, Dominik Szoboszlai and Amadou Haidara, who were suspended last Saturday, are returning. Dani Olmo, Benjamin Henrichs and Marcel Halstenberg will also start.
