Dominican Rapper El Alfa Leads Illegal Motorcycle Convoy in Manhattan

The Dominican rapper, El Alfa circulated on Monday afternoon along with dozens of people aboard motorcycles and illegal vehicles through the streets of Manhattan.

Motorcyclists and ATV drivers, which are illegal in the City, have occupied all lanes of travel on several streets in Washington Heights.

The situation mobilized the police by air and by land.

The urban music performer, El Alfa was part of this group and was seen in videos shared on networks distributing some tickets to the participants.

Some motorcyclists were intercepted and detained by the New York police.

Even the singer was one of them, but the vehicle was only taken away from him and he left in another car.

For the local residents, these types of motorcycle convoys are a problem they have to deal with on a daily basis.

“(They go by) yelling bad words at people, calibrating the engines and saying bad words at people because that’s another, they are calibrating and they have to make way for them,” said Miguel Guzmán, an affected neighbor.
