NEW YORK.- Francisco N. Yan has in his hands a great personal and professional challenge when holding this exhibition, where he demonstrates his techniques used through a brush, colors and lines that he expresses in his works, “Transition”.
The artist invites you to immerse yourself in the color red in each of his paintings. The surreal elements seem imperceptible due to the narrative of social or existential content so akin to human needs.
The creation of “Transition” took a preparation time of two years, applying special techniques in acrylic on canvas and mixed media, to convey character and personality, “it does not matter from what origin we come, it does not matter if we are black or white, we all have the blood of the same red color, ”Yan expressed.
It should be noted that Yan was born in San José de Los Llanos, Dominican Republic, from an early age he was showing interest and passion for painting, until he entered the National School of Fine Arts where he trained in painting, drawing and sculpture.
“Transition”, opens its doors to the public at the Jadite1 Galleries in New York City, will take place from December 10th and ends on December 22nd, 2020.
