Mayor Adams led the activity, held at his official Gracie Mansion residence in Manhattan.

As every year, the gala recognizes the contributions, work and sacrifices of prominent members of the Dominican community.
Congressman Adriano Espaillat and the city’s Transportation Commissioner, Ydanis Rodríguez, were two of the many officials who were present.
“This is the house of the New York people that year after year opens its doors wide to receive a community that today has nearly a million New Yorkers, the Dominican community,” said Congressman Espaillat.
