Dominic West is in talks to play Prince Charles in seasons five and six of The Crown. Variety reports that the last two seasons of the Netflix series will be set in the 1990s and early 2000s.
In the 1990s and preceding years, Charles had an affair with Camilla Parker Bowles while still married to Diana. For that reason, the choice for West can be called ironic: the actor was intimately photographed with actress Lily James in mid-October, while he is married to Catherine FitzGerald.
The rumors about the affair of the The Wireactor has been busy in Britain for a week, but West denies that anything is wrong.
The Crown tells about the British Royal Family and the story starts in the late 1940s when Queen Elizabeth marries Prince Philip. The upcoming season, season four, will air on Netflix from November 15 and will introduce Diana to the story.
