Dominic Smith took part in the first season of the VOX format “Prince Charming” in 2019 and made it to the final. Now the reality star has died unexpectedly. Dominic was only 33 years old. The cause of death is not yet known.
Martin Angelo (28) announced Dominic Smith’s death on Tuesday evening, July 12, in his Instagram story. Dominic and Martin met and loved each other on “Prince Charming”. Since then, the two men have formed a deep friendship.
On Instagram, Martin posts a picture of the two together with an emotional text: “I’m writing this with tears in my eyes and it’s breaking my heart because I just can’t believe our paths will never cross again.” And further: “I just don’t have the words to really describe how I really feel. But what I can say is that from the bottom of my heart I wish that you could find peace where you are right now.”

In 2020, Dominic Smith took part in the RTL program “Couple Challenge” together with Martin Angelo. Shortly thereafter he withdrew from the public because he was “not doing really well”. In June 2022, Dominic reported back via Instagram with an emotional post and wrote, among other things: “Sometimes life hits you like a giant wave, you can hardly breathe and then you’re having the ride of your life again and you don’t want the moment to end.”
The sympathy on social media for his death is great. Many fans, but also other reality stars and “Prince Charming” colleagues, commented on his last Instagram post. They are deeply affected by Dominic’s surprising death.
