Another episode of domestic violence occurred on Friday night in Apokoronas, Chania.

A 55-year-old man, of Greek origin, was fighting with his 51-year-old Georgian partner, when the situation started to get out of control according to flashnews.gr.

The 55-year-old started breaking things, at a time when the 51-year-old’s adult son from a previous marriage, as well as the couple’s minor daughter, who witnessed the entire incident, were also present.

The man then collected some of the young man’s belongings and set them on fire. Police forces were called to the scene and proceeded to arrest the 55-year-old, while today at noon he is expected to be tried in the framework of the autoforos.
