Petrol and diesel sales prices at national service stations also continued to decline this week.
According to Opinet, the Korea National Oil Corporation’s oil price information system, on the 10th, the average selling price of gasoline at gas stations nationwide in the first week of December (4th to 8th) was 1,611, 1 won, down 15.1 won from the previous week.
The average price of gasoline this week in Seoul, Korea’s most expensive region, was 1,699.6 won, down 2.5 won, and in Daegu, the lowest-priced region, it was 1,544.8 won, down 19.9 won.

The sale price of diesel this week was 1,845.7 won, down 16.2 won from the previous week.
Diesel prices have continued to decline for three weeks straight, but as gasoline prices have fallen for the 13th consecutive week, the “price reversal”, in which diesel is on average more than 200 won more expensive than petrol, go on.
In the aftermath of the Korea Cargo Workers’ Union general strike, there were also sold out gas stations one after another, but it was found that the strike did not have a significant impact on sales prices due to the general downward trend of international oil prices.
