In an interview with Canal+ Sport, teased this Wednesday evening on the encrypted channel, Abdoulaye Touré confided the “excellent memory” left to him by the passage of Raymond Domenech. The former coach was dismissed after only 7 games.

“To be frank, his appointment surprised more than one,” admits Touré. And if there is one thing about Domenech that amazed the Nantes midfielder, it is his knowledge of football. “He is passionate, he is a very good connoisseur”, assures Abdoulaye Touré. And if it didn’t work, it’s a “matter of time” according to him. “With a little more time, it could have worked,” he concluded.
For the time being, FC Nantes, 19th in Ligue 1, will travel to the Parc des Princes on Sunday with the aim of making this trip a fruitful one.
