The number of cyber attacks has increased dramatically again
The Hiscox Cyber Readiness Report clearly shows that both the risks of cyber attacks and the awareness of cyber risks have increased: In Germany, 60 percent of those surveyed said that they were attacked more often in 2024 than in the previous year – this number is up from an increase again compared to the previous year (in 2023, 58 percent said they were attacked more often than in the previous year). On average, German companies were attacked by cyber criminals 49 times within 12 months (successful attacks and recalls combined).
germanBroker.net AG and CHARTA Börse für Versicherungen AG merge
The broker association germanBroker.net AG (gBnet) and CHARTA Börse für Versicherungen AG (CHARTA) are now coming together in a strategic alliance. The goal of the collaboration is to offer new added value to the affiliated partners of the two companies. The Institute for Pension Provision and Financial Planning (IVFP) investigated the competence of providers in the field of company health insurance (bKV). The study included the tariff offers of 16 insurance companies. The ranking is divided into the sub-categories of consulting, contract planning, service & administration and product portfolio. Over 75 criteria were analyzed. 10 insurers received the overall rating of ‘Excellent’: Axa, Barmenia, Bayerische, Continentale, DKV, Gothaer, Hallesche, R + V, SDK and Württembergische.
