“The individuals involved will be arrested,” Henride said in a 90-minute video posted to Facebook Tuesday.

“I plan to sue. It’s a lot of work. I’m just telling you a little bit because this whole thing of blaming Tiffany and lying to me is over. Now it’s time for me to speak. The truth speaks.”
Henriid, who introduces himself in the video as “Super Mayor,” did not reveal what crimes his opponents had committed.
She took to the social media platform after a meeting in Thornton Township, which she also leads as a supervisor, was canceled due to lack of quorum as the board raised safety concerns about the meeting location. According to the Chicago Tribune, this is the second time the rally has been canceled.
She also denounced “fake news” for media coverage of her time in office and criticized public officials who opposed it.

“Why is there a problem with me and my life?” Are you guys not hearing me? I only judge one side of the story that is out in the world, but I don’t listen to myself at all… I always… “If you ask me to take the car from you, you have to take it from the horse’s mouth.”
Henyard has promised proof of his opponent’s wrongdoing in the past, including announcing a podcast and brief national media tour, per WGNTV, but has failed to deliver.
In her Facebook post, Henyard said those making allegations against her were doing so as a distraction.
“Why are we paying so much attention to Tiffany Henyard? “What on earth are they doing here that is distracting us and at the same time they don’t want us to know?” she asks.
Meanwhile, Henyard’s landlord told Fox 32 Chicago that the mayor and her boyfriend Kamal Woods haven’t paid rent since August and wants them out.

Landlord Genetta Hull said property taxes were rising again, forcing her to raise her rent by $200 to $2,400 a month, which Woods said she couldn’t afford.

Hull said Henyard and Woods refused to pay additional rent in August and then stopped paying altogether, failing to deliver rent checks for September and October.
According to Fox 32, Hull said she racked up thousands of dollars in debt while changing the locks and garage door codes so she couldn’t enter her home. The landlord filed an eviction lawsuit against the two, but the Cook County Sheriff’s Office tried and failed. We handle cases at home and in the community hall.
Hull told Fox 32 that she once considered Henyard a friend and campaigned for her.

She was first elected mayor of Dalton, a south Chicago suburb, in 2021 after serving two terms as a trustee on the village board. She won the election in a landslide, receiving more than 80% of the vote.
Residents call it ‘America’s worst mayor.’ She earned the nickname after her term ended in controversy, including money management issues.
Her re-election announcement comes as she pursues lawsuits against several village trustees, the Dolton Park District, the village clerk and village administrator.

The legal dispute stems from a previous, controversial village board meeting in which Henyard alleged procedures were violated.
