It’s been 10 years since Miley Cyrus released her first number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100, but her country idol Dolly Parton remembers the first time she heard the song yesterday.
The “Jolene” singer sat down with Spotify’s memorial podcast for the song. wrecking ball 10and remembers his first experience on the road.

Upon its release on August 25, 2013, “Wrecking Ball” took its competition by storm. advertising board charts, becoming Cyrus’s first number-one single on the Hot 100 and spending a total of 32 weeks, including three weeks at number one, on the chart. The song became the highest-performing single from the Disney Channel alum’s 2013 album.
