After 43 successful and performing years together, the Dolly Dots played their last concert on Wednesday night. Angela Groothuizen, Angéla Kramers, Esther Oosterbeek, Patty Zomer and Anita Heilker sang their songs for the last time in the Ziggo Dome.
The Dolly Dots headlined the Symphonica in Rosso Wednesday night music event at the Ziggo Dome. “The Dolly Dots show their dance moves and the audience joins in,” wrote the Ziggo Dome while sharing videos of the concert on Twitter. “We wish this great De Dolly Dots show at the Ziggo Dome would never end.”

The concert was part of a major reunion tour. It was originally supposed to take place in 2020, but was canceled due to corona. Over the past few years, women have met three times for a reunion. In 2016 they were on stage together for the last time for a guest performance at De Toppers in the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
Initially, Dolly Dots had six members, but Ria Brieffies died in 2009. Between 1979 and 1988, Dolly Dots were very popular at home and abroad. The group had more than 25 top 40 hits with songs like Love Me Just a Little More, Radio and Hela-di-ladi-lo.
