Dolby Vision in Apple TV and podcasts in Spotify

This week, Xbox Series X or S console users will receive some new features in some media apps.

Apple TV, available only on the last generation, will thus support Dolby Vision for compatible content (those produced by Apple are almost all), marked with a small dedicated logo. Of course, the television will have to follow.

On the Spotify side, we finally find podcasts, which will have the good taste of being able to operate in the background, including while playing. As always with Spotify, the smartphone can be used as a remote control to change episodes, advance, pause, etc.

In the United States, other applications are landing on the console: discovery + (from the Discovery channel), Paramount + (formerly CBS All Access) and IMDb TV (formerly IMDb Freedive). The latter is owned by Amazon and contains advertisements.

Other applications of this type are due to arrive this summer, promises Microsoft.
