[IT비즈뉴스 한지선 기자] Dolby Laboratories was selected as the 72nd Technical Engineering Emmy Award winner by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Dolby was selected as the winner in recognition of its contribution to the dramatic increase in the range of color expression through the optimal HDR implementation through dynamic metadata and WCG technology. HDR and WCG combined with dynamic metadata are considered to be the most advanced technologies in the field of image quality.
Currently, global production studios and various creators are producing contents through Dolby Vision. These contents are supplied to consumers through popular streaming services such as movies and TV dramas, Apple TV+, Disney+, Netflix, Voodoo, and Tencent.
