Doha MotoGP 2021 results – First Fabio Quartararo, 16th Valentino Rossi page all

KOMPAS.com – Fabio Quartarao (Monster Energy Yamaha) won the race MotoGP Doha 2021 at the Losail Circuit, Monday (5/4/2021) early morning WIB.

In the race which lasted 22 laps, Quartararo finished in front by beating two Pramac Racing, Joann Zarco and Jorge Martin.

This is Quartararo’s first win at the 2021 MotoGP World Championship and only his fourth after racing in the premier class starting from the 2019 season.

These results at the same time continue the slick pace of the Yamaha factory at Losail this season.

Previously, on the same circuit, Monster Energy Yamaha won the first series race, aka Qatar MotoGP through Maverick Vinales.

This race was also historic for Quartararo and Zarco, who became the first French riders to share the podium in the premier class since 1954.

Meanwhile, Valentino Rossi finished the race in 16th place. The result was quite good, considering Rossi started from 21st.

Racing MotoGP Doha which took place tonight, the arrival of an important guest, namely FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

There has been no official statement regarding Infantino’s presence. However, it is believed to be related to the 2022 World Cup which will take place in Qatar.

The Doha MotoGP race

The front grid of the Doha MotoGP is occupied by Jorge Martin (Pramac Racing), Johann Zarco (Pramac Racing), and Maverick Vinales (Monster Energy Yamaha).

Meanwhile, Valentino Rossi was forced to start the race from the penultimate position, aka 21st.

On the first lap, Jorge Martin managed to defend his position, followed by Johann Zarco in second place.

Meanwhile, Vinales had a bad start, so he had to drop six places to ninth.

Last season’s world champion, Joan Mir also started well. Starting from the order of ninth, Mir poked to number six.

Entering the third lap, Mir’s teammate Alex Rins recorded the fastest lap and took over third from Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia).

As for Jorge Martin, he started leaving his competitors when the race entered the fourth lap. He made the gap 0.392 from Zarco in second place.

When the race entered the sixth round, Martin began to get resistance from Rins. Rins previously took over possession runner-up Zarco’s on the fifth lap.

Entering the 10th lap, the top three positions are occupied by Martin, Zarco, and Rins.

Aleix Espargaro, Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), and Joan Mir, followed in second row.

Meanwhile, Valentino Rossi, who started the race from 21st, climbed one ladder to 20th.

On lap 11, Rins almost fell at Turn 9. However, he managed to save to continue the race.

On lap 12, Alex Marquez (LCR Honda Castrol) experienced crash. This is the second time Alex Marquez has been unable to continue racing.

In the first series, aka the Qatar MotoGP which also took place at the Losail Circuit, Alex fell on the 13th lap.

Seven rounds left, Fabio Quartararo poked into third place, taking over Bagnaia’s position.

Fabio Quartararo continued his impressive run by taking over the racing leadership on lap 18.

With four laps remaining, Quartararo made 0.408 seconds of distance from second-placed Martin.

He ran over an object on the track on the last lap which was part of a Tech3 motorcycle behind the grid.

Despite completely overtaking the object, Quartararo tires lasted until the end.

Quartarao managed to maintain his position from the pursuit of the Ducati duo, Martin and Zarco until the end of the race until he became the winner.

The race was adorned by the incident of Jack Miller and Joan Mir who bumped into the exit of the last corner in the final laps.

The stewards investigated the incident but there was no further disciplinary action.

The two riders didn’t forget the incident after crossing the finish line with them screaming at each other on the lap to the pit lane.
