Mühlheim / Main (dpa / lhe) – Two dogs caused an accident in a horse-drawn carriage in Mühlheim (Offenbach district). When the dogs ran freely behind the team on a path near the Main on Wednesday, the ponies panicked, the police said on Thursday. Before that, the driver of the carriage overtook the woman with the dogs when they were still leashed. The team accelerated and could no longer be controlled. According to the information, one of the ponies fell while trying to escape and the carriage overturned. The driver fell off the carriage and was slightly injured. Police estimate the damage at around $1,500. She is currently looking for witnesses.
