Dogan’s goons can’t swallow their defeat. A last, desperate attempt to trip up DPS-New Beginning for the elections was made by Jevdet Chakarov, who, after the decisions of the Supreme Court and the CEC, will only be able to run for MP as a civilian quota for his new boss Rumen Yonchev.

Chakarov has submitted to the commission an application for the withdrawal of DPS from the DPS-New Beginning coalition with chairman Delyan Peevski. Yesterday, it was finally registered by the CEC, after the Supreme Administrative Court restored justice and ordered the commission to do so immediately. At the same time, the CEC also registered the spare tire of the Dogan Alliance for Rights and Freedoms, in which the Agricultural People’s Union and SBOR participate.

One minute before the deadline for submitting the documents yesterday, Jevdet Chakarov asked DPS to withdraw from the “DPS – New Beginning” coalition. Immediately afterwards, however, an objection to the request was received from DPS-New Beginning, announced Mateva and Tomov. They specified that in the next hours the CEC will deal with this issue.
However, the court’s decision is definitive and the CEC cannot violate it.
