Their dog Luna was grabbed by the man after an altercation, they tell Hart van Nederland. “Our neighbor walked in a straight line to Luna, lifted her above his head, and then threw her to the ground.” That would have happened after a collision in the street, in which the man came cycling fast and Luna reacted with a bark.
The 5-year-old Luna, an American Eski, was taken to a vet and operated there for hours. “Her leg has been broken in three places, her ribs are bruised and she received a massive wound,” Moj said. The neighbor later apologized. “But I cannot accept that. I cannot have a conversation with someone who does something to such a small defenseless animal. ”
