Husky Lucky actually only had one job. But he completely messed them up.

The four-legged friend was supposed to serve as a watchdog in a jewelry store in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Then it came to extremes: an armed robber storms the jewelry shop and aims a pistol at the owner. He hands over his prey to the thief and lets him go.

And what is Lucky doing during that time? Nothing. More precisely, the fur nose completely slept through the attack. Video recordings show the animal lying calmly in front of the sales counter and slumbering while the owner is being robbed.

Lucky should be careful and drive away the criminal.

Fortunately, the crime was only a test to check whether the four-legged friend really intervenes in the worst-case scenario. As can be seen in the clip, owner Worawut Lomwanawong looks over at his dog for an extra long time to see if he reacts and scares away the wrong predator.

But Lucky doesn’t notice any of this.

After all, the husky made it to a little celebrity on Facebook. The video was liked almost 15,000 times and shared over 5600 times. In the comments, the users are also amused by the behavior of the fur nose.

How Newsweek reports, its owner took the stray in around seven years ago. At that time the four-legged friend was in bad health. But with a lot of love and care, Lucky was able to get up again.

“I think she had a very hard life before we met and I wanted her to start a new one full of happiness,” said Worawut. “That’s why I called her Lucky.”

He himself had to smile at his pet’s reaction: “I thought it was very funny to see that he didn’t even try to do anything and went back to sleep.”

In an emergency – the shopkeeper is sure – Lucky would drive the thief away.
