Dog head movie Star can now be seen online for 10 euros

In recent months, the film has attracted nearly 15,000 people to the cinema. That number is quite a lot by Frisian standards, especially because visitors only had access with a corona pass.

After the announcement of the lockdown last Saturday, something else had to be sent. “We responded by putting the film online as soon as possible,” said Emiel Stoffers. “So everyone can see him at home during this Christmas holiday.”

This is how it continues to be a pioneer for the makers of the film, because they do not have a distributor. “First we got the cinemas to show our film, which ran really well. And now we try it through our own site, it almost never happens, it’s one big adventure. We’ll see how it goes” said director Janko Krist.

The film can be viewed via film.stjer.frl and costs almost 10 euros.
