The mixed breed dog Eddy not only impresses his owner Kelsey with his singing talent, but also over two million TikTok users. As Kelsey tries to warm up her voice with singing exercises, she is suddenly surprised by her dog’s surprising duet performance.
You have – Kelsey McEwen stars as a meteorologist on the Canadian morning show “CTV Your Morning.” But she also regularly provides insights into her life and work on social networks. With 1,671 followers, the Canadian is not a celebrity on TikTok, but she and her dog Eddy recently landed one with one of her videos viral hit.
Kelsey usually shows videos about her work as a meteorologist on her channel. But on Sunday (February 4th), the Canadian wanted to capture something different on tape. Kelsey, who has set herself the goal of pursuing her passion for singing more often, films herself using her voice Singing exercises warmed up.
But after the first notes it is interrupted by unexpected counter-noises. The mixed-breed male Eddy immediately joins in and passionately shows off his singing talent. The owner writes that Eddy has had it for the last three and a half never cried or whined. While Thunder, the slightly older dog in the McEwen home, shows little interest in his fellow dog’s talents, Kelsey is excited about her four-legged friend’s newfound talent and covers her face with her hands while laughing.
Already over two million views and Eddy has so far achieved over 538,000 likes with his singing performance. “He’ll show you how it’s done!” writes one of the viewers in the comments. Others joke that they expect their own album to be released soon.
A second hit straight away?
After the viral hit, Kelsey followed up with another video. As she tinkles the keys on a piano, Eddy once again gives an insight into his newly discovered talent. Matching the musical accompaniment of his mistress the male tries to hit the right notes. Kelsey says of the video: “I have one adorable singing monster unleashed and love it!”.
Even though the second video hasn’t been a viral hit yet with over 6,500, Eddy and his owner can be proud of themselves and perhaps there will be more to see soon from the singing dog from Canada.
