A French bulldog was handed over to the lost and found animal shelter in Giessen on Thursday evening (September 19). Now we are looking for its owner.

Gießen – A French bulldog greeted the animal shelter manager on Thursday evening (September 19th) crying loudly. The little dog was dropped off at the lost and found animal shelter in Gießen and from there, with the help of the manager, she was taken to an animal shelter. There she was given a warm place to stay for the night.

Whoever dropped the dog off there didn’t fill out a lost animal report and didn’t leave any other information about the animal. The animal shelter can’t say whether the bulldog was put there by a finder or its own owner.

The young dog is chipped but not registered. The animal shelter in Giessen now hopes to Facebook-Appeal to find the owner. “We want to leave no stone unturned,” says the Gießen Animal Welfare Association website.

Animal shelter asks for information about the dog and shows distinctive collar

The owner should also contact us if he Dog could not keep. The animal shelter further points out that with data such as vaccination status, age and compatibility it would be easier to find a new home for the French bulldog.

Striking: The bulldog lady wore a striking light-colored leather collar with embroidery of a heart rate and a heart, as well as a black leash.

Facebook users disagree about the dog’s origin

Was the dog abandoned or did she perhaps run away and her owner is already looking for her? In the comments under the Facebook post, there is a lot of speculation about the possible origins of the little dog.

Above all, many Facebook users are showing commitment and spreading the news in surrounding districts. Anyone who knows the dog or can provide information can contact the Gießen animal shelter on 0641/ 52251.

Some animals are permanent guests at the Giessen animal shelter. They are often considered difficult to rehome, like Frodo the dog. A home is now being sought for him.
