Brighton striker Glenn Murray is among those who have noticed the Liverpool manager’s strange ritual.
– He walks to the center line, stands on the same spot and just stares at the opponent’s half. It really psyches you out, Murray tells TalkSport.
– It completely puts you off the first time it happens because you think «what is he doing? He does not even look at his own team, he looks at us ». He does not flick his eyes and just keeps looking all the time, Murray continues.
Bent: – The manager had to go to him
Darren Bent, who participated in the same recording, says that he experienced the same thing when he played for Derby against Liverpool in the League Cup in 2016.
– It’s funny that Glenn mentions it, because when I was in Derby we met Liverpool in a cup match. We warmed up and exactly the same thing happened. He stood in the middle line and watched us warm up.
