In this video criminal defense attorney Alexander Cross explains that if a person has an arrest warrant, especially if it is for a felony, for the rest of his life he will be looking back to see when they will catch him.
Eventually, for example, if you are driving a vehicle, and they stop you for any traffic violation and when you do a search for your name they see that there is this arrest warrant from 15 years ago for possession of drugs for sale, they will arrest you right there .
Doctor Cross can be in charge and for that he will request a hearing with the judge to see what needs to be done to withdraw that order and begin to solve the case that motivated it.
Once all the evidence has been studied, a decision can be made as to whether it is worth going to a jury trial or it will be more advantageous to reach an agreement with the prosecutors’ office.
But either way, an arrest warrant is always having the risk of being arrested at any time.
