For men who do not have a partner, masturbating might be one way to get satisfaction sexual. However, daily masturbation is believed to cause erectile dysfunction.

In addition to having sex with a partner, masturbation is a ‘shortcut’ to get sexual satisfaction. Stimulating the penis with the touch of a hand or sex toys until ejaculation may be familiar to men who have not found a partner.

Want self pleasure masturbation is actually a natural thing. Giving yourself a touch to reach ejaculation climax is also said to play a role in a person’s developmental stage.

“Psychologically, self pleasure It is one of the needs in a person’s developmental stage. When a person reaches the age of adolescence-adult, the need for intimate relationships will increase, then the desire to achieve self-satisfaction arises,” said a psychologist at Primaya Hospital Jakarta, Gardenia Junissa Siregar, some time ago.

Unfortunately, there are still many people who think and believe that daily masturbation can trigger erectile dysfunction. In fact, however, this is not the case.

Consultant urology specialist at RSCM, Nur Rasyid, said that masturbation will not make a person experience erectile dysfunction. Masturbation every day will not make the penis difficult to ‘stand’.

“Do men often masturbate cause erectile dysfunction? The answer is no. However, there are risk factors that cause erectile dysfunction,” said Rasyid when contacted CNNIndonesia.com, Monday (12/7).

Rasyid said, the risks that can trigger erectile dysfunction are generally divided into two things. First, because of organic factors that occur in the body. Second, because of psychological factors. While masturbation, is not included in the risk factors for erectile dysfunction.

For information, penile erection occurs when there is touch or sexual stimulation. An erection is possible when the blood vessels dilate to allow more blood to flow and settle in the corpus cavernosum of the penis. The penis will expand and eventually harden to penetrate.

In organic factors, there are disturbances in the blood vessels so that a person has difficulty having an erection. Blood does not flow to the penis so it does not make it erect.

“The number one risk factor, there are comorbidities such as blood vessel disorders, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, diabetes, which reduce the quality of erections,” said Rasyid.
