Does Blood Type Determine the Severity of COVID-19?

While the study made it clear that blood type did have an association with infection risk, it didn’t reveal anything about the severity or mortality of the disease.

In addition, research also shows that people with blood types A and Rh+ take longer to recover, while those with blood types O and Rh- can recover quickly. Several previous studies have also stated that people with blood type A are more susceptible to Covid-19 infection.
