The match Valencia vs Barcelona took place at the Mestalla stadium on Sunday (30/10/2022) early morning WIB. Barca looked dominant, but fought in the last third and wasted several golden opportunities.
Valencia snatched Barcelona’s goal in the 50th minute with Samuel Dias Lino. The goal was then canceled after the VAR caught Marcos de Sousa for handball.

After the match, Xavi felt his team were better than Valencia and deserved to win. This was denied by Gattuso as Valencia manager.
“I have a lot of respect for Xavi, I like the way he reads football, but I don’t remember Barcelona’s action in the second half,” said Gattuso from AS.
“I don’t know if we have seen another match, I think it was played normally, Barcelona have quality, but if Xavi says they are far superior to us, I disagree with him.”
Valencia are currently in 10th place with 15 points from 12 games. Gattuso is not sad about the result against Barcelona.
“I’m not sad, I’m proud of the team. We have to improve a lot, but we still have hope, I’m proud to coach this team. We have to move forward.”
