OnePlus does not bring two, but one successor to the OnePlus 8 in 8 Pro out, the high-end phones that appeared earlier this year. Because a possible OnePlus 8T Pro would not be innovative enough, the company only sticks to the ‘normal’ OnePlus 8T. This is certainly not a disaster, because the 8T has plenty to offer and is equipped with a number of cool improvements.
An example of this is Warp Charge 65, OnePlus’ new fast charging technology. With the included charger, the OnePlus 8T is completely full within 40 minutes. If you only put the smartphone on the charger for fifteen minutes, it is already 58 percent full. This is enough to get through almost a whole day and there are hardly any smartphones that charge as fast as the 8T.

The OnePlus 8T is not a major upgrade compared to the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, but it is a nice improvement. The charging speed in particular is convincing: the battery is completely full within a little over half an hour. In addition, the device is just as expensive as the OnePlus 8.
Because the hardware has largely remained the same and the improvements are mainly in the higher refresh rate and cameras, the OnePlus 8T is a particularly interesting alternative to the OnePlus 8. The differences with the OnePlus 8 Pro are less significant. It is therefore wise that the company has not released an 8T Pro, because it would be too little distinctive.
