Doda took great care of her vocal workshop. She trained her voice, among others, in the famous Vocal Study of Elżbieta Zapendowska. She also went to the Buffo theater, where she played in the famous musicals “Metro” and “Przeżyj to sam”.

The turning point in her career was the year 2000. She then became the lead singer of the band Virgin. Their first album went gold. It is from her that such hits as “To you and “I have only you” come from. At that time, Doda took part in the reality show of Polsat TV called “Bar”. It was then that we could get to know her rebellious personality for the first time. Dorota Rabczewska began to talk about The second album of the band Virgin brought more hits such as “Dżaga” and “Do not disappoint me”. This time it went platinum.

The band recorded subsequent albums, and Doda achieved further successes. She received, among others, Telekamera in the music category. She also became the artist of the year at the Eska Music Awards. There were also successes at festivals in Opole and Sopot.

At the turn of 2006 and 2007, Doda parted ways with Virgin and started her solo career. There was always talk about Doda. She used every moment of her life to promote herself and her work. Thanks to this, the whole of Poland watched on TVN Turbo how she was preparing for the driving test.

Her first solo album was a success. At one point, it even occupied the 66th place on the list of best-selling records in Europe. It was certified platinum in Poland. Doda is famous for his sharp tongue and the fact that he says what he thinks and doesn’t beat around the bush. Even the famous exchanges with Justyna Steczkowska in the program “Stars dance on ice” have gone down in history. The whole of Poland spoke and wrote about it at that time.

These controversies did not prevent her from achieving further successes. She won, among others, the MTV European Music Award for the best Polish performer.

It was always loud not only after each single that Doda released on the market, not only after each interview she gave in the media, but also thanks to her relationships with men.

When he became her partner Radoslaw Majdan, goalkeeper of the Polish national team, they were spoken and written about as Polish Beckhams. He was her next partner Adam “Nergal” Darski, followed by choreographer Błażej Szychowski. In 2015, she became involved with producer Emil Stępień, and in 2022 with traveler Dariusz Pachut.

Doda lives in a two-story apartment in Warsaw. Two colors dominate her apartment: black and white. White stairs lead to the first floor. Many walls, however, are black. It’s shiny black.

At the bottom of Doda’s apartment there is a huge living room, kitchen, as well as a laundry and drying room, and upstairs: a bedroom, a bathroom and a wardrobe.
