The employees of documentonews.gr are participating in the 4-hour work stoppage of POESY which was announced as part of the 24-hour strike of ADEDY on the occasion of the completion of one year since the tragic crime in Tempi that claimed the lives of 57 of our fellow citizens.
In this context, no news will be broadcast from 12.00 noon to 4.00 pm.
The announcement by POESY is as follows:
POESY participates in the large mobilization organized by the country’s Labor Unions and Federations on Wednesday, February 28, announcing a work stoppage for public and private sector journalists from 12:00 to 16:00.
At the completion of one year since the tragic accident in Tempe with the 57 dead and their families demanding justice and punishment of those responsible, while precision and profiteering are draining the income of workers and pensioners, public hospitals are collapsing and the lives of citizens are getting worse, the country’s journalists claim:
· Collective Labor Agreements with real wage increases
· Decent working conditions
· No more profiteering and precision
Journalists stand by the fair fight of farmers and support the fight of health workers for upgraded public hospitals, and students for public higher education.
