Documentary “Water is Life”

“Water is Life” – a documentary film about Kenya in two parts. Currently, one third of Kenya’s 53 million people, or 16 million, experience water shortages on a daily basis. The World Wide Fund for Nature claims that as early as 2025, two-thirds of the world’s population will lack water. Water is one of the most important resources.
The first film, called “The story of the Maasai, or waiting for the rain”, is about the Maasai people of Kenya and their changed living conditions under the influence of climate change.
The second film “Saving Corals” is the story of coral reef restoration.
The director of the film is Jēkabs Vilkārsis, the scriptwriters are Ingrīda Strazdiņa and Nora Semjonova, the sound director is Artūrs Sedriks Sinkēvičs, the photographer is Ęirts Strazdiņš, the producer is Sandijs Semjonovs.
